Photo Usage

Requests are made regularly on the use of our photographs. Therefore this page presents basic guidelines to usage of our photos by third parties. At all times a person or organization must contact us about intentions of usage.

Photographs may not be reproduced, copied, stored or manipulated in any form without the written permission of the copyright holder. This includes use of any image as part of another photographic concept or illustration. No image or any part of this site is within public domain.

Personal Websites

Links to this website are always welcome and appreciated!

Photos may be used on a personal web page as long as the page is strictly non-commercial and non-institutional (no solicitation of any money, cause or use as advertising). For personal web page use, the following is required.

Image used must be unmodified and unaltered, and must include all original text as shown on this site.
A link to www.vividpix.com needs to accompany the
photo(s).
This permission may be withdrawn at any time and for any reason.

Commercial Usage

Photos can be licensed for other uses such as brochures, advertisements, posters, CD artwork, editorial, web sites, etc. If you use our design services on your project, the photo usage fees are discounted 50% or more. See the links on the right under design for samples of our work.

If you find an image on this site which you would like to use, have any questions, or would like us to organize a submission, contact us directly by phone or email. We will be happy to discuss your project, usage rights, and fees.

Our usage fees are based on standard stock photography industry guidelines. To determine a fair usage fee, the following are some of the factors considered with regard to your project:

Usage: brochure, print ad, poster, CD artwork, editorial, web, etc.
Print run
Distribution: USA, World, etc.
Reproduction size of image: 1/4 page, 1/2 page, cover, etc.
Length of usage: year, month or unlimited
